PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescence detector capable of effectively exciting coloring matter used in various biochemical analysises using an LED with a high selection degree of freedom of an exciting wavelength in place of a laser, having high sensitivity and providing even a theoretical structure capable of finally realizing a lab-on-a-chip. SOLUTION: This emission light detector of a fine object is constituted so as to detect the light emitted in a form of fluorescence or phosphorescence from the fine object upon the reception of the irradiation with the exciting light emitted from an exciting light source. The exciting light source is the LED and has a microresonators, each of which comprises a pair of mirrors, at both ends and a microconverging lens which enhances the directionality of LED light and converges exciting light after the dispersion of an emission wavelength distribution.
