PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal aid which requires no processing for a seal and can be carried together with the seal without any trouble and which has a guiding function of enabling straight impression of the seal. SOLUTION: The seal aid 1 is designed for straight impression of the seal. In this seal aid 1, a cross-shaped top pattern 2 is formed on the top of a cap which is put on the top portion of the seal or of a lidded cylinder which is fitted on the seal, and direction indicating bars 3 having direction indicating patterns 3b are pivotally supported by lateral grooves engraved downward along the lateral side of the cap from the ends of the pattern 2, so that the lower end portions of the bars 3 can be unfolded.
