PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a printing process by enabling the residual amounts of an ink and printing papers to be more accurately detected. SOLUTION: The residual amount sensing for the ink and printing papers from the start of the using to right before the running out is performed by an ink residual amount sensing means, and the variation in steps of the residual amount can be grasped. In addition, the sensing of a timing for the running out of the ink and the printing papers which becomes important in the residual amount sensing can surely be performed by a printing paper running-out sensing means.
