PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretcher whose direction is easily and surely changed even while its legs are folded. SOLUTION: The stretcher is provided with: a bed part 11; the legs 41 fitted to the bed part 11 in a foldable manner; and wheels (front wheels 90 and rear wheels 80) fitted to the legs 41. Casters 85 are fitted to the rear wheels 80. Each main leg 63 supporting each rear wheel 80 is constituted of a link mechanism which is a parallelogram made of three legs 67, 69 and 71 and a part of the bed part 11 when viewed from its lateral side. First and second support points 65a and b among four support points 65a, b, c and d constituting the link mechanism are fitted rotatably to the side of the bed part 11, and the rear wheels 80 with the casters 85 are fitted to the third support point 65c. To the fourth support point 65d, a stopper 89 is fitted which abuts on the leg 67 to prevent the leg 67 from riding across the leg part 67. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
