PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent malfunction without sacrificing the operability when operating an operation panel for an X-ray diagnostic apparatus. SOLUTION: The front face of the standing position side of an operator of the operation panel 10 is provided with a transmission type beam sensor 11, and the X-ray diagnostic apparatus includes a control part 15 controlling to turn on or off an operation signal according to whether the transmission type beam projected by a transmission type beam projector 12 is detected by the transmission type beam receiver 13 or the transmission type beam is shielded by a rubber cylinder 14.
