A car communication system is provided to periodically decide on a location of a vehicle to previously search a vehicle of an acquaintance located in the vicinity and to notify a driver of the searched vehicle, so that the driver can select/execute a voice call or a video call with the acquaintance. A communication unit(10) performs direct communication with at least more than one of other vehicles. A deciding unit(20) decides on a location of a vehicle. An A/V(Audio/Video) unit(30) outputs/displays voices or images for calls with the other vehicles. The communication unit(10) obtains information on the vehicles through a vehicle network(60), delivers the information to the other vehicles, and decides whether a vehicle of an acquaintance exists in the vicinity, then selectively performs a call.
