A lighting apparatus, an LCD and an electronic device are provided to achieve uniformity of emitted light by adjusting an optical axis of light incident to a light guide plate. A light source is disposed at a side section for light incidence at a location deviated from a central line of a width of a light guide by intersecting an emission direction of light of the light source. Convex portions(23,23L,23R) or concave portions are provided at the side section for light incidence of the light guide body, and intersects the emission direction of light of the light source. The concave portion or the concave portion has an inclined asymmetrical shape in a direction intersecting the emission direction of light of the light source. The concave portion or the convex portion is inclined toward one side of a direction intersecting of the emission direction of light of the light source.
