发明名称 Improvements in room heating or cooling systems
摘要 767,986. Radiators for heating buildings; sound insulation. FRENGER, K. G. July 5, 1954 [July 8, 1953], No. 19626/54. Class 64(2). Heating or cooling metal plates 5, 6 are mounted, e.g. secured to pipes 1 heated by electricity or heated or cooled by fluid inside, between a radiation panel and a wall or between a sub-ceiling 7 and a ceiling 2 and supported directly or indirectly by elastic members such as metal springs 4 tending to urge the plates away from the wall or ceiling 2 so that there is resilient contact of the plates with the panel or sub-ceiling. Figs. 1 and 2 show respectively the positions of pipes and plates before and after application of a sub-ceiling 7. The ends of the springs 4 engage in slots 3a in beams 3 attached to the ceiling 2 and the middle portions grip the pipes 1. The plates 5, 6 have flanges 5a, 6a at their inner edges, where adjacent portions are clipped, welded or riveted together, so that clips for gripping the pipes 1 are thus formed and at the outer edges there are perforations 5<SP>1</SP>, 6<SP>1</SP> or tongue or hook projections. These outer edges may thus be anchored in a plaster layer which together with a corrugated metal sheet or netting or wire gauze 7a nailed to the beams forms the sub-ceiling in some embodiments. This composite sub-ceiling may have sound absorbing perforations. Preformed plaster panels, Figs. 5, 6 (not shown) may form the subceiling and they may have perforations leading to sound absorbing material above plates 5, 6 having corresponding perforations. The plates 5, 6 may be parts of a single sheet formed with a middle groove fitting over a pipe 1, Fig. 7 (not shown) so that the springs 4 grip the groove. Additional spring clips, Fig. 5 (not shown), may be provided between a pipe and the upper surfaces of its plates, 5, 6 to increase the pressure of the plates on the subceiling.
