Transponder gate and associated gate antenna

The gate comprises an antenna, which is designed to detect modified and coded signals coming from the transponder and further guided to evaluation electronics (4). The antenna has a material that limits a detecting area (5) covering the passage area by two spaced mirrors (2) arranged on both sides of the passage area. A dish is formed facing the reflecting sides of the mirrors to define the detecting and passage areas between the mirrors. The antenna is arranged in one of the mirrors as concave, while the other mirror is either in plane or concave form. An independent claim is also included for a gate antenna for transponder gate.
