A method for preparing a beauty soap is provided to improve the skin whitening effect and the moisturizing effect by using Paeonia lactiflora Pall. and 1,3-butylene glycol. A method for preparing a beauty soap comprises the step of mixing 85-89 wt% of a soap base containing 12-25 wt% of moisture; 1 wt% of distilled water; 1 wt% of perfume; 8-12 wt% of 1,3-butylene glycol; and 1 wt% of an extract of the seed of Paeonia lactiflora Pall. which contains gnetin H. Preferably the extract of the seed of Paeonia lactiflora Pall. is prepared by removing an oil component from the seed of Paeonia lactiflora Pall. by using n-hexane; and extracting the obtained one by using 80% ethanol.
