HEATER FOR THE FUEL CELL SYSTEM

A heater for a fuel cell system is provided to improve the durability of an igniter for igniting fuel and oxygen by preventing the igniter from being exposed to the heat generated during the combustion of the fuel and oxygen in a combustion catalyst layer. A heater(126) for a fuel cell system comprises: a combustion chamber(210) having a combustion catalyst layer(212); a distributor(220) for distributing combustion fuel and an oxidizing agent flowed along the inner space uniformly to the combustion catalyst layer of the combustion chamber; and an igniter(230) for igniting the combustion fuel and the oxidizing agent, wherein the igniter is embedded in the inner space of the distributor.
