The seal (10) has bristles (12) with an end area and are held in a base body, which is held stationary at one of the components (28). The base body is held at the component by a plate (20), which is formed with a U-shaped cross section and is encompassed by the two side surfaces opposite to the base body. One of the side pieces (22,24) of the U-shaped plate is shaped longitudinal in the cross section such that it forms a guiding plate for the brush.
