A method for balancing the pressure within a compressor of a composite kimchi storage apparatus is provided to control the temperature of a first or a second storage room for a prolonged delay time, and to allow the pressure of a cooling system passing through a third evaporator to be balanced. In a composite kimchi storage apparatus equipped with a first to a third storage rooms, wherein the third storage room has a third capillary tube being longer than a first or a second capillary tube, a method for balancing the pressure within a compressor of the composite kimchi storage apparatus comprises the steps of: (a) comparing if at least one of a first to a third outlets of a step valve is opened; (b) operating the compressor, if so; (c) comparing if all the temperature of the first to the third storage rooms is lower than the lowest control temperature, when the compressor is operated; (d) stopping the compressor, if so; (e) checking if the third outlet of the step valve is opened, when the compressor is stopped; (f) keeping the third outlet opened for a first delay time, if so, and keeping the third outlet closed and the first to the second outlets opened for a third delay time, if it is not so; (g) comparing if the temperature of the first storage room is higher than that of the second storage room, after the first delay time; (h) closing the third outlet and then opening the first outlet, if so, and closing the third outlet and then opening the second outlet, if it is not so; (i) keeping the first to the second outlets opened for a second delay time, if one of the first to the second outlets is opened; and (j) closing the first to the third outlets after the second or the third delay time, and then returning to the initial stage. |
