Medical tubular shaft instrument comprises a handle (2) removably connected to a proximal end of a hollow shaft (3) and at least one tool-actuating element mounted in and removably connected to the hollow shaft via a coupling mechanism that is locked between the tool-actuating element and the hollow shaft depending on the position of a tool (5). Preferred Features: The coupling mechanism is a bayonet connection or a self-locking pin/slot control. The tool-actuating element is connected to the hollow shaft via the coupling mechanism exclusively in a mounting position of the tool deviating from the working positions.
