An adjusting device of a developing angle of an airbag according to a driver head position and a method thereof are provided to perform an original purpose of the airbag regardless of a body figure of the driver by detecting the driver head position and adjusting an angle of a steering wheel containing the airbag. An adjusting device of a developing angle of an airbag according to a driver head position comprises the followings: a distance calculating unit installed at a head lining, to calculate a vertical distance(d) from a driver head; a control unit(20) transmitting an ignition signal to a buster(60) by inputting a signal from the distance calculating unit; a shaft(30) formed with a protruded part(34) connected to an engaging bracket of a steering wheel(40), including a connecting bracket(32a) at both side periphery of a body(32), to adjust an angle of the steering wheel containing an airbag(70) according to an inputted signal from the control unit; multiple springs(50) connected to the connecting bracket of the shaft at one end, and connected to a body(40a) of the steering wheel at the other end; and the buster installed in the center of the spring.
