An emergency handling method of a communication system is provided to be capable of receiving location information of a user in an emergency so that a path can be set with the location information received in a path service device, thereby more quickly rescuing the user. If the first mobile communication terminal(100a) demands rescue, an emergency message including location information is generated and transmitted(S200-S205). The second mobile communication terminal(200a) receiving the transmitted emergency message transmits the emergency message to a path service device(300)(S207-S219). The path service device(300) sets a path to the first mobile communication terminal(100a) according to location information included in the received emergency message(S221-S225).
