<p>A device and a method for servicing the location of a shuttle bus are provided to inform the arrival of the shuttle bus in advance by using audio or letters. A device for servicing the location of a shuttle bus includes an input unit(110), a memory(130), a GPS(Global Positioning System) module(120), a communication module(140), and a CPU(Central Processing Unit)(160). The input unit is used for inputting reference coordinates, telephone numbers, and audio and letter messages. The memory stores the reference coordinates, telephone numbers, and audio and letter messages. The GPS module receives current position coordinates from GPS satellites. The communication module transmits the audio and letter messages to the telephone numbers stored in the memory. The CPU determines whether the current position coordinates received from the GPS module and reference coordinates stored in the memory are matched with each other, and drives the communication module according to the determination result.</p> |
