摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a heat receiving amount (heat transfer efficiency) compared with that in the prior art. <P>SOLUTION: Second burners 8, 9 are arranged to inject fuel toward a reaction tube-extending direction in a space formed between (among) two or more of adjacent reaction tubes 7. Combustion air supply devices 10, 11 for the second burners are provided to discharge exhaust gas in a combustion chamber 2 to the outside of the reactor through a heat storage body having gas permeability, and to supply combustion air heated to a high temperature by sensible heat of the heat storage body to the second burners 8, 9. A positional relation between first burners 3-6 and the second burners 8, 9, and a combustion ratio in the first burners 3-6 to the second burners 8, 9 are determined to make the heat receiving amount (heat transfer efficiency) of the reaction tubes 7 more than 1, where the heat receiving amount of the reaction tubes 7 is 1 when the reaction tubes 7 are heated only by the plurality of first burners 3-6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
