A method and a device for generating/managing a session between a WUSB(Wireless Universal Serial Bus) host and a WUSB device are provided to reduce battery consumption of the WUSB device and solve user inconvenience of frequent disconnection by generating and managing the session between a WUSB host and the WUSB device based on the WUSB host. A searcher(107) searches a WUSB device connected to a wireless network and obtains attribution information including an IP(Internet Protocol) address of the searched WUSB device. A message generator(105) generates a session generation request message for requesting session generation and a session confirmation message including a session ID assigned to the WUSB device. A wireless transceiver(108) transmits the session generating request/confirmation message including the IP address of the WUSB device through the wireless network, and receives a session generation respond message for responding to the session generation request message. A session ID assignor(106) assigns the session ID to the WUSB device by responding to the session generation respond message. A session generator(104) generates the session between the WUSB device and the WUSB device by using the session ID and the IP address of the WUSB device.
