A pressing device for a pressing and separating apparatus a beverage container is provided to protect and to prolong a life of the apparatus by selecting a can and a pet bottle to be pressed from a glass bottle according to falling sound to a selecting shutter with a selecting sound sensor. A pressing device for a pressing and separating apparatus of a beverage container comprises the followings: a selecting unit(110) formed to select and supply according to material of the beverage container, including a selecting space(111) with a selecting shutter(112) at a bottom operated by a shutter operating part, to accommodate an inputted beverage container; a pressing unit(120) including a pressing support part(121) and a pressing plate(123) formed in the selecting space, and a pressing operation part(124) with a support hinge connection component(125) at the pressing plate; a pressing reciprocation unit(130) including a support ball connection part(132) with a support ball(133) and a support hinge, a reciprocating shaft(131), an operation ball connection part(135) with an operation ball(136) and an operation hinge(137), and an operation connection part(139); and a pressing rotation unit(140) including a rotation axle plate(141) formed at both sides of the reciprocating shaft, and a rotation axle(143) with a rotation sprocket(146) rotated by a connected motor and connected to the operation connection part.
