The device has a floor material (1) i.e. clinker slab, over a floor drain (4) comprising an underside (5). A supporting surface (7) comprises a larger extension surface, where the supporting surface comprises an opening (19). The floor material is movably adjustable over the supporting surface in a direction (24) mainly in parallel with an underside (5). Fluid on the floor material over the floor drain and the surrounding floor material (3) is allowed to flow through a distance (2) downwards into a space (9) via the opening to the floor drain.
