A rocker pendulum for a motor vehicle, has an elongated, especially hollow basic body ( 1 ). The basic body ( 1, 11, 21, 31 ) has at least one section ( 1 a, 11 a, 21 a, 31 a), which forms or has a bearing shell of a ball and socket joint.
