A zone service accounting processing system in a mobile communication network and a method thereof are provided to realize an efficient accounting processing function when a subscriber accesses a communication network through a communication terminal by using a zone setting apparatus for setting a particular region in order to offer a particular zone service for the particular zone in the communication network. A mobile communication terminal(14) receives a particular zone service by accessing a mobile communication network within a service zone(10) set by a zone setting apparatus(12). A mobile communication network system provides the particular zone service to the terminal(14) located within the service zone(10). The terminal inserts zone service origination call confirm information capable of confirming whether an origination call is capable of receiving the zone service into an origination call message to send the message to the system. The system performs an accounting processing function for the origination call by using the confirm information.
