A safety step board for a platform of a train is provided to remarkably reduce friction generated due to sliding contact with a train when the train enters or exits the platform. A safety step board for a platform of a train includes a fixing body(11), and a plurality of flexible support bars(12). The fixing body is attached to an end of a platform along the rail. The flexible support bars are disposed at a rail side surface of the fixing body in a longitudinal direction thereof and project to an appropriate length to form a fork shape. The fixing body and the support bars are formed of rubber or urethane to form a predetermined shape to constitute the safety step board as an unity. The fixing body has a small width and a relatively large height to form a large strip shape.
