<p>Disclosed is a method which can detect an endotoxin derived from a gram negative bacterium in a sample in which it has been difficult to detect or quantify the endotoxin accurately or the like by the method described in the Handbook of the Japanese Pharmacopoeia, 14th ed., Hirokawa Publishing Co., 2001:B-63. A test method for an endotoxin using a lysate reagent comprising the step of adding the lysate reagent to a sample in the presence of albumin and/or globulin and then performing the determination.</p> |
