A method and an apparatus for manufacturing a membrane-electrode assembly for a fuel cell system are provided to produce a membrane-electrode assembly having a catalytic layer of a specific pattern shape easily. An apparatus for manufacturing a membrane-electrode assembly for a fuel cell system includes: a substrate film unwinder(100) which has a tape shape and supplies a substrate film to be coated with a catalytic layer for a fuel cell; a pattern film unwinder(200) which has a tape shape and supplies a pattern film(20,20a) to one surface of the substrate film, wherein the pattern film has a pattern mask with a shape corresponding to the catalytic layer; a pressing unit(400) which puts the substrate film and pattern film together, wherein the substrate film and pattern film are supplied from the substrate film unwinder and pattern film unwinder, respectively; a coating unit(500) which sprays a catalytic slurry from the upper part of the adhered pattern film to coat one surface of the substrate film with a catalytic layer; a drying unit(600) which heats and dries the catalytic layer on the substrate film; a pattern film rewinder(800) which recovers the pattern film passed through the coating unit; and a substrate film rewinder(700) which winds the catalytic layer-coated substrate film into a roll. |
