A monitoring system of a manhole device is provided to reduce the time and personal consumption for monitoring and to monitor manhole device above the ground by monitoring the opening and closing of a floodgate wirelessly and to exclude the necessity of power sources by operating a wireless signal output unit outputting signals according to the opening and closing a floodgate using self-generation method. A monitoring system of a manhole device for monitoring the opening and closing of a floodgate comprises a manhole device(100), and a data storage/output device(200). The manhole device is installed on a buried drain pipeline(10) to detect the inside water level with buoyant force to flow rainwater in or out and composed of a body(102) provided with a drain outlet(104) and an inflow port(108) connected with the drain pipeline, a floodgate(120) rotated on a horizontal shaft in an extension(106) formed in the drain outlet to open and close the drain outlet, a float(122) fixed to the extension of the drain outlet to be rotative and stopping the rotation of the flood gate if the inside water level of the body reaches the preset water level by sensing the inside water level of the body with buoyant force, a generator(130) changing rotational kinetic energy of the floodgate into electrical energy and generating power by self-generation method, a battery(140) connected with the generator electrically to charge electrical energy, and a wireless signal output unit sensing the operation of the generator and outputting sensing signals. The data storage/output device is formed to receive output data according to the opening and closing of each floodgate wirelessly and to let supervisors monitor many manhole devices above the ground, and composed of a wireless signal receiving unit receiving signals from the wireless signal output unit, a data storage unit connected with the wireless signal receiving unit to store up output signals and a display unit outputting data stored with received signals and output signals of the wireless signal receiving unit to be recognized visually. |
