The frame of the device supports two brake pulleys which are slanting relative to a vertical plane parallel to the tractor length direction, when the frame is mounted on the tractor. The brake pulleys define a V with an open top side and are located behind a first pulley, the top part of the V being level with the first pulley and the bottom part being level with a second pulley. The first pulley is a horizontal one which cooperates with an endless V-belt in order to rotate the second pulley and drive a tool mounted on the front of the tractor. The first pulley is at a higher level than the second pulley. |
