RANDOM ACCESS CHANNEL, SEQUENCE FOR SEGMENTED ACCESS, AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING SIGNAL

An RACH(Random Access Channel) for segmented access, a sequence, and a signal transmission method and device using the sequence are provided to allocate different physical resources according to different conditions for each UE(User Equipment), or to define so that different resources are used among physical resources allocated to channels, thereby reducing overheads of the physical resources. A channel is selected according to location information among channels which are differently defined on the basis of location information within a cell of a UE. A signal is transmitted by using the selected channel. The differently defined channels are allocated with different resources on the basis of the location information within the cell. The differently allocated resources are differently allocated in more than one of frequency and time domains.
