A cord structure of a carcass for a pneumatic tire having an improved hardness on a sidewall is provided to prevent the sidewall from being broken by increasing a density of a cord in the sidewall and continuously forming the cord in a shoulder part. A cord structure of a carcass for a pneumatic tire having an improved hardness in a sidewall comprises a crown part(10), a sidewall part(20) that extends at two sides of the crown part, and a carcass(40). The carcass forms a cord layer including a plurality of cords(41,42) that are continuously connected inside the crown part and the sidewall part. The cord includes a first cord part formed inside the crown part and a second cord part that extends from the first cord part inside the sidewall while being divided into plural sections.
