A light emitting device and a display device are provided to decrease a non-display area of the light emitting device by supplying a voltage to an anode electrode through an anode terminal which passes through a side member. First and second substrates(12,14) are arranged to be opposed to each other. A side member(16) is arranged around the first and second substrates and forms a vacuum container with the substrates. An electron emission unit(18) is formed on the first substrate. A light emitting unit(20) is formed on the second substrate and emits light using the electrons from the electron emission unit. The light emitting unit includes a fluorescent layer and an anode electrode(32). The anode electrode receives a voltage through an anode terminal, which penetrates the side member. The anode terminal includes a lead unit and a wire unit. The wire unit is elongated from the lead unit and contacted with the anode electrode.
