Bolts.-A connecting screw is formed in two parts with a rubber insertion between them, to render the screw insulating and slightly elastic. The head 14 of the set-screw 15 fits tightly into the recess 12 in the cup shaped member 10. Similarly the screw 25 is attached to the conical plate member 20 over which is placed the moulded rubber block 31. When forming the complete screw the assemblage shown in Fig. 2 is pressed firmly into the interior of the cup shaped member 10, and the side walls 18 are then pressed inward with the aid of a suitable die forming corrugations 41, and compressing the rubber 31 to form a secure, though slightly yielding connection between the two screws 15, 25. |
