WATER SOFTENER HAVING ADVANCED FILTER EFFICIENCY

A water softener is provided to maximize the filtering area of a pretreatment filter, thereby utilizing the filter efficiently, by forming a plurality of inflow holes in a water induction member so that water flows into the entire circumference of the filter uniformly. A water softener comprises a filter housing(20) connected to a raw water supply pipe(1), and a filter(10) formed in the filter housing to filter off impurities contained in raw water. A water induction member(30) wraps the filter between the filter housing and the filter. The water induction member has a plurality of inflow holes(31) through which the water passing through the raw water supply pipe flows into the entire circumference of the filter uniformly. The water induction member is distanced from the filter housing so that a water passage(32) is formed between the filter housing and the water induction member.
