A remote control system for an electronic watt hour meter is provided to be compatibly expanded together with control data gathered by a DLMS(Direct Livestock Marketing Systems)/COSEM(COmpanion Specification for Energy Metering) communication protocol even between PTE(Power data Transmission Equipment) and a control center. A remote control system includes a control center server(101), N PTEs(103), and N electronic watt hour meters. The N PTEs include a power unit, a data communication modem with the control center server, a data communication modem with the electronic watt hour meters, a data communication modem with a PTE slave, a PTE control unit, and a data storage unit. The power unit outputs DC power by matching a spot at which a PLC and another communication device are connected on a secondary line of a transformer, another spot at which load of the transformer is sensed, and the other spot at which the electronic watt hour meter supplied with power from the transformer becomes the N electronic watt hour meters gathered by the PTE. The data storage unit converts information of the electronic watt hour meters into database. The N electronic watt hour meters include a data communication modem with the PTE inside.
