A hanging scaffold is provided to perform works at the upper story and the lower story simultaneously by installing a work platform to be extended from the upper story to the lower story, and to install on a structure installed obliquely and to assemble or disassemble easily by keeping a vertical bar fixed with a work platform perpendicularly. A hanging scaffold is used for performing works at the upper story and the lower story by installing a work platform to a structure(1) installed on the upper story of a multistoried building and extending the work platform to the lower story, and coupled to the structure forming the framework of a building to support the work platform. The hanging scaffold comprises a bracket(10) inserted to the lower part of the structure, provided with two wing sections(11) having plural fastening holes(12) to insert bolts and coupled with a packing member(13) made of a rubber material and a support(14) having a shaft hole(15) to penetrate a bolt and a guide hole(16) to penetrate a bolt and to move a vertical bar at the appointed angle, a fixing member(20) put on the upper part of the structure, coupled to the bracket by bolts(B) and nuts(N), provided with two wing sections(21) having plural fastening holes(22) correspondingly to the fastening holes of the bracket and coupled with a packing member(23), and a vertical bar(30) coupled to the lower part of the bracket to be movable at the appointed angle, fixed with the work platform and provided with a shaft hole(31) corresponding to the shaft hole of the support and a rotary hole(32) corresponding to the guide hole.
