A lightweight insulation block for construction is provided to be lightweight, not to be deformed and to increase thermal insulation effect by keeping warm effectively. A lightweight insulation block(1) for construction is made of foamed synthetic resins, and provided with a coupling projection(11) at the top and a coupling groove at the bottom to prevent gap formation when piling up on internal and external walls of a building, a circular fitting projection(2) formed on the upper part of a member cut into an L-shape, and a two-stage groove(13) formed on the front and rear of the lightweight insulation block by folding in two stages at the end of a housing(15) of the lightweight insulation block, wherein a heat resisting board(3) is inserted to an inner groove(131) located on the inner part of the two-stage groove, and a finishing board(4) is inserted to an outer groove(132) located on the outer part of the two-stage groove and provided with a filling groove(14) to be filled with inorganic adhesives to fix the finishing board to the insulation block strongly.
