A burning apparatus for an exhaust gas treatment system is provided to extend the staying time of enriched gas inputted into a burning room, thereby achieving a sufficient burning operation at a low temperature, by using a mixing buffles installed within the burning room. A burner installation port(30-2) is disposed in an upper part within a rectangular parallelepiped type burning room(30-1), and a burner is installed at the burner installation port. A pair of beds(31,32) are installed in a lower part within the burning room. The beds communicate with enriched gas supply ports(31-1,31-2) through a bottom surface of the burning room, respectively. A plurality of mixing buffles(50) are installed at a uniform interval in the upper part within the burning room. Each of the mixing buffles has a buffle plates formed on a support pole. Further, the plurality of mixing buffles are installed at an upper part of an inside of the burning room in predetermined interval.
