A block for wall construction is provided to make wall construction simple, to heighten the strength of a wall, to maximize thermal insulation effect and to increase soundproof effect. A block for wall construction for performing wall construction work simply and maximizing thermal insulation effect comprises an external insulation portion(10) and an internal insulation portion(20) placed on an external wall and an internal wall of a building to have thermal insulation effect and to function as a form for concrete mortar of a wall, many connectors(30) arranging the internal and external insulation portions at a certain distance to be parallel to each other and forming a mortar input portion(31) between the internal insulation portion and the external insulation portion, and many coupling grooves(40) and many coupling projections(50) engaging each other on the top and the bottom of the internal and external insulation portions to couple many blocks for wall construction strongly when piling in vertical and horizontal directions and to prevent the leak of concrete mortar through a gap between the blocks for wall construction. In addition, spaces filled with air are formed in the internal insulation portion and the external insulation portion to heighten soundproof effect of a wall. |
