An apparatus for preventing swerving of a belt conveyor is provided to minimize falling of a transfer object and damaging of a belt by preventing the swerving of the belt. An apparatus for preventing swerving of a belt conveyor(10) includes a supporting frame(110), an auxiliary body, a guide roller(130), a screw jack(141), a driving motor(142), and a position detecting sensor. The supporting frame is installed in a horizontal direction of the belt conveyor. The auxiliary body is installed at the screw jack. The auxiliary body is inserted into a pair of bodies(120). The guide roller is longitudinally installed at a lower part of the bodies. The screw jack is installed at one side of the belt conveyor. The screw jack rotates the bodies in vertical direction. The driving motor is installed at one side of the screw jack. The position detecting sensor is installed at one side of the belt conveyor. The position detecting sensor detects left and right positions of a belt(A) and operates the driving motor.
