<p>A composition for cord coating of the present invention comprises a latex of a first rubber, a phenol resin, and a water-soluble condensation product of resorcinol-formaldehyde so that a ratio of the first rubber to a solid content of the composition, a ratio of the phenol resin thereto, and a ratio of the water-soluble condensation product thereto are 30 to 95 wt.%, 0.01 to 30 wt.%, and 2 to 15 wt.%, respectively, wherein the first rubber is a nitrile group-containing highly saturated polymer rubber having an iodine value of 120 or less, and the above-described water-soluble condensation product is a novolac-type condensation product.</p> |
