A storm water and combined sewer storage tank flushing system is provided to maintain a storage tank conveniently by cleaning off sediments settled to the bottom of a storage tank automatically using sewage flew in a storage tank as washing water. A storm water and combined sewer storage tank flushing system contains a storage tank(10) installed to the end of a sewer to store temporarily, control and discharge sewerage inflowing excessively due to heavy rains, a washing water tank(20) formed to be separated from the storage tank to get supplied with sewage flew in through an inflow pipe(11) of the storage tank and to store washing water for cleaning the bottom of the storage tank and to discharge the stored washing water to the storage tank through an opening, and a water gate unit(30) controlled by a controller composed of a control panel or a terminal to open and close the opening of the washing water tank, wherein if sewage exceeding the drainage capacity of a drain pipe(13) flows in the inflow pipe due to heavy rains, the controller operates the water gate unit to close the opening of the washing water tank and to store sewage in the washing water tank, and if the quantity of sewage flowing in the inflow pipe is decreased and all sewage stored in the storage tank is discharged completely, the controller operates the water gate unit to open the opening of the washing water tank and to discharge the washing water stored in the washing water tank to the storage tank rapidly with a dam breaking effect, thereby to clean off sediments settled to the bottom of the storage tank. |
