<p>A process for the production of rigid or flexible circuits from (A) strip conductors which are electrically conducting and cohesive during production and (B) non-conductive substrate materials, comprising (a) coating the surface of (B), including any drilled holes, with a conducting polymer (I) which may contain a binder, (b) applying a galvano-resist (II) in the form of a negative image of the strip conductors, (c) electroplating the resist-free surface with metal, including drill holes, to form the positive conductor image, (d) removing the resist (II) and (e) removing the polymer (I) from the unmetallised parts or converting it into a non-conductive form.</p> |
