<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten calculation for a null matrix while restraining performance of an SINR characteristic from being deteriorated, when calculating a weight to bring an unnecessary wave direction into zero, in a time-spatial adaptive signal processing system by weight control. <P>SOLUTION: A target reflection signal of a radar pulse obtained by an adaptive array radar antenna 21 is signal-detected by a reception part 22 to be stored in a corresponding cell position along reception timing in a processing range cell prepared in a data accumulation part 23. A time-spatial adaptive signal processing part 27 computes a covariance matrix, based on a data of the cell considered to be formed of only an unnecessary wave, to find an adaptive weight, in a weight calculation circuit 271, and finally weight-controls an antenna reception signal by the adaptive weight, to serve as an output data, in a beam combination circuit 272. The number of processing stages for the weight calculation is automatically determined by a variable W<SB>n</SB>with a relation reverse-proportional to a variableξ<SB>n</SB>expressing an error calculated in a weight drawing-out process, in the weight calculation circuit 271, so as to quicken a computation time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
