INTEGRATED LAMP SOCKET, BACKLIGHT ASSEMBLY PROVIDED WITH THE SOCKET AND DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated lamp socket in which a plurality of lamps and a power source base plate are combined in a small number of components, a backlight assembly provided with the socket and a display device.

SOLUTION: The lamp socket is provided with a socket main body in which there are formed a plurality of connecting holes with open mouths up-and-downward and a plurality of power source impressing members arranged inside each of the connecting holes. Each of the power source impressing members includes a plurality of lamp connecting terminals and inverter connecting terminals. A part of the lamp connecting terminal is exposed upward in the socket main body to contact with a lamp electrode part. The inverter connecting terminal is integrally formed with the lamp connecting terminal and exposed below the socket main body. The inverter connecting terminal contacts each of a plurality of power source output terminals formed on a part of the power source supply base plate. The backlight assembly can also include a side cover which makes the lamp connecting terminal contact the electrode part of the lamp. As a result, an assemblying work of the backlight assembly and the display can be improved and a repair work can be done easily.
