PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic particle reduced in the non-specific adsorption of protein or a nucleic acid and especially developing high sensitivity and low noise characterized in the biochemical/medical field, its manufacturing method and a probe bonded particle. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the magnetic particle includes a process for forming a hydrophobic first polymer layer on the surface of a matrix particle containing super-paramagnetic fine particles, a process for forming a second polymer layer, having a glycidyl group at least on its surface on the first polymer layer and a process for introducing a polar group containing at least one kind of an atom selected from the group consisting an oxygen atom, a nitrogen atom and a sulfur atom by chemically modifying the glycidyl group.
