<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately correct a captured image and suppress an influence on the image even if a foreign matter adheres to a protective glass, an optical filter or the like fixed to an imaging element. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor, which corrects image data on the basis of the input image data and foreign matter information including a position and a size of the foreign matter being adherent near by the imaging element of the imaging device which has captured the image data, includes a correction unit for correcting the image data so as to reduce an influence of a shadow of a foreign matter captured in the image data on the basis of the image data and the information; a determination unit for determining whether or not the aperture value when the imaging device imaged the image data satisfies predetermined conditions; and a control unit for inhibiting the correction of the image data by the correction unit when it is determined that the aperture value satisfies the predetermined conditions by the determination unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
