PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce frame missing when displaying an imaged image on a display device in real time. SOLUTION: In a camera device, a target data quantity setting part 116 sets a target data quantity after compression, and a compression rate determination part 118 determines an image compression rate. A data quantity measurement part 112 measures a data quantity of compressed image data. The compression rate determination part 118 determines a compression rate of original image data supplied from an imaging part at following times or later, on the basis of the set target data quantity and the measured data quantity. When the measured data quantity exceeds a prescribed upper limit data quantity, a transfer control part 114 does not transfer the compressed image data.
