PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication method and a radio communication terminal capable of continuing communication using a multi-carrier while suppressing interference between carriers adjacent with each other at a predetermined frequency spacing. SOLUTION: The communication method has a step of calculating a difference in transmission power between a first carrier and a second carrier, a step of determining whether or not the transmission power difference exceeds a threshold to be set based on the maximum transmission power difference permissible between the first and second carriers, and a step of controlling the transmission power of the first or second carrier while holding the transmission power difference within the maximum transmission power difference without conforming to the power control information corresponding to the first or second carrier if the transmission power difference exceeds the maximum transmission power difference.
