PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure cooker which is reduced in allowance and play in manufacturing, prevents occurrence of danger areas by heated air, and secures safety in handling. SOLUTION: The pressure cooker is equipped with a handle 4 having an operation part with a rotary shaft. An operation part capable of removing pressure from the pressure cooker through an opening and equipped with a means to remove pressure at at least two prescribed different pressure removing speeds or at at least one prescribed pressure removing speed and a pressure removing speed capable of being set at a speed higher than that is provided. The pressure cooker has an operation part for opening/closing an opening 21 and is equipped with an opening 23 capable of second operation of the pressure cooker. Further, a pressure acquisition device is equipped with a mechanical part with at least a part movable by pressure and an electronic part capable of acquiring a position of the movable part as well as a time measurement device, a special handle or a U-shape locking element.
