PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ottoman device and a seat, which are capable of fixing an ottoman body at any position in the fore-and- aft direction. SOLUTION: An ottoman device 10 is designed to expand an ottoman body 30 from a storage position under a seat 1 to a foot rest position in front of the seat. The ottoman body 30 comprises a base portion 40, a slide portion 31 capable of sliding in the fore-and-aft direction relative to the base portion 40, an urging member 54 for urging the slide portion 31 in either of the forward or backward direction relative to the base portion 40, and tension members 51 and 52 for pulling the slide portion 31 in the direction opposite to the urging direction against the urging force by the pressurizing member 54.
